Glympse – Where You At?

Glypse is an application for your Motorola Droid which allows you share your location with your friends, and you can also see your friends location. It’s cool because you can set it to update your location every 5 minutes or up to 4 hours. So if you want a little bit of privacy you can always set it to 2 hours. It uses Google Maps so you can tell where the person is also.

You can choose who you share your lists with. And your Glypses can be viewed ont he internet in a regular web browser. Sending Glympses is very easy, you can email them, tex them, or tweet them. A cool application that knows where you are, can tell your friends where you are, and gives you some privacy at the same time.

The application is called “Where”, and its a GPS location based app that does weather, news, movie showtimes, Yellowpages, YELP, local gas prices, Starbucks locator, and traffic all in one package.

This application does everything and more. Seriously, with this app, your Motorola Droid can probably get you a girlfriend. It’s called “Where.” It knows where you are because it uses your GPS to tell you everything like the news, movie showtimes, YELP, a worthless Starbucks locator, and more. So pretty much wherever you are or may be, you’ll know what’s going on around you, what’s going to happen around you, and if there is a Starbucks in the vicinity. One of the best apps out for the Motorola Droid definitely.
